  1. Doomsday Book is one of my favorite 3 or 4 sci-fi novels. There is a British podcaster Luke Burrage, he is a professional juggler by trade, he has a podcast called the sci-fi review podcast where he has reviewed over 500 novels. He gave this 0.1 stars out of 5, he often eviscerates many of my favorite works (Replay by Ken Grimwood is another one and he says Ted Chang’s stories are basically about people sitting in rooms working about problems) but he does so in such a cheery way I don’t get upset. He is someone I might like to hear on your novel review podcast.
